David Dixon Heinen

HEINEN, David Dixon, 95, of Chesterfield County, Va passed on Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was the son of Frank and Gertrude Heinen of Kittanning, PA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Heinen. He is survived by four daughters, Dawn Rene Shay, Rala Heinen, Sandra Heinen, and Catherine Heinen Parsons and her husband, Travis; his five grandchildren, Andrew and Jennifer Shay, Hollen and Cole Parsons, and David Dietrick Heinen. Mr. Heinen attended Valley Forge Military School and graduated from Penn State University. After working at National Dairies in Norfolk, VA, he worked and retired from DGSC in Richmond as a Senior Programmer. He was a member of Bon Air United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the Korean War. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA 23238.
