David was a bright, intelligent person whose love for cats (especially his cat Bernie), gardening and linguistics brought warmth into many others´ lives. He was always willing to share his knowledge with others or provide an appropriately-timed Parks & Recreation reference. He will be missed by many people.

Although we were only rectangle friends, you were one of my best and closest pals. Always coming through with a fun fact, teaching me how to pronounce Cholmondeley, a fun Caterpillar Cake, the best sarcasm, photos of you as a child holding a bunny, and of course, sweet, beautiful Bernie. When I checked in with you a few weeks ago, I truly thought you were going to pull through. I´ll miss you my friend. I´m sorry we never got to meet in real life, but I´m certain we will meet someday.
