COVERTON, Della Katherine Cosby, 92, of Richmond, departed this life Sunday, February 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Della and Willie Cosby; sons, Dr. Ronald and Vernon Coverton; siblings, Willie III, Robert Cosby, Shirley Wingfield, Marian Shelton and David Cosby. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Robert Coverton, Nehemiah Malachi, Jill (Chris) Coleman and Geoffrey Coverton; grandchildren, Gerrin (Ashley) Coverton, Samiel Malachi, Jullian Coverton; great-grandaughter, Nylah Coverton; siblings, Lois Brown, Carolyn (Warren) Brown, Linda (Barry Sr.) Taylor and Patricia Cosby; sisters-in-law, Shirley Cosby and Thelma Cosby; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, where viewing will be held one hour before the 2 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Interment will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 in Oakwood Cemetery.
