Delores Giannotti Paige, born on January 9, 1936, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her two children, Brenda Sue Hammill and Jimmy Hammill, (Beth.) She was also preceded by her two brothers, Sterling and Warren Giannotti; as well as her husbands, Phil Hammill, Richard Machalski, Waverly Elam, and Kenny Paige. She is survived by her two sons, Al Hammill (Scatcey) and Reese Hammill (Renee); as well as her sister, Polly Slone. Dee had five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who fondly called her Vodka Grannie. She is also survived by other family members and dedicated friends. Dee retired as a civilian from the Virginia Air National Guard after 30 years of service. She was the owner of Shade Tree Auto Sales. She loved to karaoke and dance to country music. A graveside service will be held at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr, Sandston, VA 23150, at 11 a.m. on Nov. 7, 2025.
