Diane Perkins Obituary
August 2, 1952 - September 30, 2025
Diane Aronberg Perkins, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 73.
Born to Fannie and Eliot Aronberg, Diane was raised in Richmond and remained deeply connected to the city throughout her life, finding joy in its culture, community, and people. She graduated from George Wythe High School in 1970, then earned her Bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Accountancy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Diane became a Certified Public Accountant and began her career in private-sector auditing. She later joined Philip Morris USA, where she devoted nearly 30 years of service before retiring in 2007. In retirement, she served as President of the Philip Morris USA and Altria Retirees Association. She was also actively involved with the George Wythe High School and Camp Alkulana alumni groups.
Diane was predeceased by her parents, Fannie and Eliot Aronberg of Richmond; and by her beloved husband of 48 years, Robert "Bubba" Perkins. She is survived by her children, Michelle Lange, Kim (Glenn) Hamm, and Zach (Liddy) Perkins; her grandchildren, Everett Hamm, William Hamm, and Sienna "SiSi" Lange; her brother, Ralph Aronberg; nephew, Ryan (Maggie) Aronberg; nieces, Ashley Aronberg, Pamela (Keith) Donnelly, Brenda (Eric) Gass, and Anna (Larry) Carter; and many loving cousins and chosen family.
Known for her social spirit, Diane found happiness in life's simple pleasures; taking walks with her cherished dogs, spending time with treasured friends and former coworkers, and taking great pride in her family.

A Visitation will be held, 12 to 1 p.m. Monday, October 6 at Bliley's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. followed by 1 p.m. chapel service with a graveside service at Branch's Baptist Church at 3400 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234.
