Diann Fox Obituary
Diann D. Fox, age 75, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away October 30, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Robert Louis Fox Jr. She is survived by her son, Robert Louis Fox III; daughter-in-law, Anne Dressler Fox; grandchildren, Emma Josephine Fox and Joseph Claiborne Fox.
Diann was born in Highland Springs, VA, on December 6,1948. She graduated from Highland Springs High School in 1967. Upon graduation she attended Madison College, University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. She obtained the professional designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources and was a member of the Richmond Society of Human Resources Management. She worked in the financial services industry, joining Abbott Proctor and Paine, which was then acquired by Paine Weber. In 1971 she moved to Scott & Stringfellow where she eventually moved into management, becoming their Director of Human Resources in the 1990s. BB&T acquired Scott & Stringfellow at which point she became a regional association relations manager for various areas of the bank.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5 at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6 at Bliley's- Central, 3801 Augusta Ave.
