Dorothy Samuel Jackson

April 21, 1931 - July 16, 2025

Dorothy "Dot" Samuel Jackson, 94, of Midlothian, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband, Edgar Ray Samuel, Sr.; her loving second husband, Carrington Jamerson; her cherished third husband, William McKeever Jackson, Sr.; and her dear son, Edgar Ray Samuel, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Samuel and Mary Bradstock; step-son, William McKeever Jackson, Jr. (Gail); daughter-in-law, Sharon Samuel Labons (John); grandchildren, Tiffany Miller (Jeramie), Jacob Goodwin, Brandon Samuel (Allison), and Matthew Bradstock; and her great-grandchildren, Chase, Palmer, Dani, and Blake. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Dot retired from the USPS where she was a rural carrier, was dedicated to her church, and actively volunteered in her community. She was also a member of Eastern Star and was a past Worthy Matron.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 23, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, 1100 Mt. Pisgah Dr, Midlothian, VA 23113. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 1 p.m. at the church. A graveside service will immediately follow the funeral service. The family then invites you to join them for a reception following the graveside. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church or Meals on Wheels.
