Dorothy Sims Obituary

SIMS Dorothy R. "Nannie" Sims, 79, of Richmond, passed away January 13, 2007. She was the widow of Carlton L. Sims. She is survived by her children, Lois Marshall, Linda Kendall and her husband, Gary, Ronnie Sims and his wife, Pat and Larry Sims and his fiancee, Sherree' Carter; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Mrs. Sims retired from Standard Drug Company after many years of service. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice of Virginia for their care and their support. The family will receive friends on Monday (today) at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, beginning at 11 a.m., and where funeral services will be held 12 noon on Tuesday. Interment 1:30 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
