Doug Lloyd Obituary

Doug & Charlotte Lloyd

September 14, 2025

Doug and Charlotte Lloyd went to be with the Lord together, holding hands, just six hours apart on Sunday, September 14. They spent 77 wonderful years together as high school sweethearts, partners, and best friends. Their love story was one of true devotion, and they remained inseparable until the very end.

Doug and Charlotte were deeply rooted in their faith and love for the Lord. They faithfully attended church every Sunday, cherishing their fellowship.

Together, they built a beautiful family and are survived by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Their love for one another and for their family will forever remain an inspiration. Their legacy of faith, devotion, and tradition will continue to live on through those who loved them most.

The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Hermitage Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 71, Urbanna, VA 23175, or Hermitage Baptist Church, P.O. Box 190, Church View, VA 23032. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, is assisting the family.
