Earl Cox Obituary

COX, Earl Talmadge, 72, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021, at his home. Earl and his partner, Ralph Norcom, ran Norcox Landscaping for 31 years. He loved teaching people how to play double chess, a game he played using two chess boards. Survivors include his brother, Henry Wayne Cox and sister-in-law, Phyllis Cox; and sister, Shirley Charnock. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Henry Cox; his mother, Hazel Cox; niece, Melinda Lynn Cox; and nephew, David Wayne Cox. Interment will be private.
