WINSTON, Earl Kenneth, 88, departed this life on August 10, 2022 at VCU Medical Center, Richmond, Va. He was born on February 16, 1934, to the late James Percy Winston and Lois Parrish Winston, in Goochland County, Va. He was preceded in death by brothers, Stuart W. Winston and James R. Winston; sisters, Ann W. Badgett and Jean W. Badgett. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anne Haden Winston; sons, Stephen R. Winston (Kim) and Ronald D. Winston (Kathy); daughter, Stacey W. Nannery (Mike); grandsons, Alexander E. Winston and Michael K. Winston; granddaughters, Sierra M. Winston, Dana A. Nannery and Meredith C. Nannery. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and care partners at VCU Medical Center and Westminster Canterbury Richmond for their compassionate care during his illness. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St., Glen Allen, Va. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Rd., Glen Allen, Va. followed by a reception. Burial services are private.
