Edward Elam Obituary

Edward Sylvester Elam Sr., of Richmond, departed this life on Friday, December 3 2004. Surviving are his loving wife of 18 years, Sharon Cooper-Elam; four children, Shannon, Brittany, Eric and Edward Jr.; two grandsons, Jeremiah and Ethan; mother, Bernice Elam Jones; two sisters, Sallie Elam and Marylyn E. Sanders; other relatives and friends. Ed was an Emergency Medical Technician for Clark's Transportation, transporting patients. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 25th and "S" Streets. Rev. Darryl Husband, officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Online guest book at www.scottsfuneralhome.com
