Ernest Simpson Obituary

SIMPSON Ernest Simpson III of Landover, Md., passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. He was the beloved husband of Jocelyn Enid Simpson; father of Ernest IV; son of Ruth and Ernest Simpson Jr.; grandson of Mary Merriman; brother of Gail Ivey and Ada Marquez; brother-in-law of John E. Bratton II and JuJuan Bratton; godfather of Teresa Williams and Che'la Alexandria. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. at Victory Christian Ministries International, 3911 St. Barnabas Road, Suitland, Md. Interment will be held at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements by McGuire.

My favorite cousin has left us and will be deeply missed by the entire family. I will miss our talks and his sense of humor. Jocelyn, you and Lil E have all the support and help we can give you. We are only a call and a few steps away.
