Dear Carolyn, Cyndi and all the rest of the Overtons,

I was so sorry to hear of Baldy's passing. He may have been the king of a dynasty, but he was also a gracious, down-to-earth, kind man who always made a point to stop and chat with me and everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing him. His charm and warmth will be sorely missed.

Our family will keep yours in our prayers.

Dear Cindi, Your Dad was always very kind to my family, and especially to me when I was over at your house playing after school. His sense of humor and cheerfulness made him and icon in the town of Farmville. His absence will be greatly noted by everyone. My heart is with you all.

My sincere condolences to the Overton Family. My fondest memory was when my husband, Herbert T. Overton,Jr. and I visited Mr. Overton & his family at their home some years ago & Mr. Overton gave me an Overton dairy bottle I had been trying to collect for years. I have always treasured his gift and our visit. Our Prayers are with you & your family. Love, Herbert Jr. & Judy Overton
