Frances Allport Obituary
October 19, 1951 - October 26, 2024
Frances Booth Allport passed away October 26, 2024 after battling brain cancer for more than 19 years. She was preceded in death by her parents William Hobart Booth, Jr. and Sarah Kerby Booth; brothers William Hobart "Jocko" Booth, III and Phillip Kerby "Pork Chop" Booth.
She is survived by her husband of 51 yrs., Eugene Allport; two sons, Christopher Allport and his wife Kathleen Allport, Glen Allen, VA; Jared Allport and his wife Brooke Allport, Annandale, VA. Her greatest joy in life was being blessed by her grandchildren, Netta, Sadie, David, Glen Allen, VA; Hannah and Emma, Annandale, VA.
She is also survived by brother, Jim Booth (Karen) of Charleston, SC; sister, Cynthia "Sam" Booth (Katy) of Bunker Hill, WV; sister, Carol Gonzalez (Paul) of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Thomas Booth (Jeanay) of Oak Hill,WV; sister-in-law, Becky King Booth of Oak Hill, WV; sister-in-law, Amy Pittman Booth of Charleston, SC; sister-in-law Linda Holliday of Faquay Varina, NC; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she loved deeply.
The family will receive friends 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on November 4, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Rd., Glen Allen, VA. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at the Columbarium with a reception in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating in Frances' memory to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School, 123 Elmore St, Oak Hill,WV 25901.
