Frances Smith Stanley

STANLEY, Frances Smith, 95, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, James Waddell Stanley; and five sisters, Blanche Wood, Dorothy Smith, Jean Maynard, Barbara Jarrett and Trudy Allen. She is survived by another sister, JoJo Shelton; and many nieces and nephews. Frances was a resident at Hermitage Richmond and a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
