Geoffrey. I saw you grow into a fine young man, and I was so proud of you. You survived a lot of negatives in you years, but you can be sure that you grew into a fine, positive, young man. I miss you telling me you "love me", and our special way that we communicated with each other. When I looked at you I saw me, an exact image of myself. That is why I miss you so. An enormous part of me went to heaven, when the Father took you home. Now you are my "Guardian Angel", and I know that I am safe with you, watching over me, for the Father. I miss you SON, and I LOVE you..........so much. DAD

George and Family,
When you reach adulthood you realize you will probably bury your parents and there is a good chance you may outlive your spouse. However, there can be no greater pain than that of a child dying.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Be assured, Geoffrey, is in a much better place and you WILL SEE HIM AGAIN.
Seek and give comfort to Paul and Chris and cherish your memories of Geoffrey.
In God's grace all things are possible.

Cheryl,
I am so very sorry to hear about the death of your son.
There is no greater tragedy for any parent, than the loss of a child and I can only imagine the pain you are enduring.
I know that there is no place that you can go that your grief does not follow you; no words that I can write that will ease your suffering.
Try to find some comfort in the memories of the good times that you shared together and the knowledge that time will soften your grief.
Remember that you have many friends that love and care for you and that will keep you in their prayers.
Take care of yourself. Give yourself time to grieve. Don’t let your heart be overcome with anger and despair. And remember that God also knows the grief of losing a Son and even now He is holding you in the palm of His hand.
You are in my thoughts and prayers

Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep
I am in the swift uplifting rush
of circling birds in morning flight,
I am the soft star shine at night.
I am the sparkle on fresh fallen snow, I am the warm sunset glow.
I am in the waves of grain, the smell of autumn fresh fallen rain.
Do not stand by my grave and cry
I am not there I did not die.

Heaven Father, you sacrificed your Son so that we and our children would transcend physical death. We know that you grieved when He was cruicified and that you grieve over all the atrocities done by men, especially in your name. You know and understand grief as you know and understand all. You know best how to comfort the parents and family members. Lift their hearts up to you and fill them with your peace. Your understanding is beyond our human comprehension, but give them the knowledge and faith to endure even that which they can't understand. Let them be aware of you always God, and help them to remember that your Love is Life that can never really be taken away.
Bless all those that mourn the loss of Geoffrey, Lord God, with the comfort of your Love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful, and their lives encirled by your Love.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
