One sure way to measure the impact of someone“s life is by the impressions they leave behind, their footprints on our hearts and minds. For us, George Peterson was a great man. George was one of our life mentors. One of the many silent mentors in our lives, if we are lucky, who make us want to be better or just makes us feel valued simply by being a presence in our lives. He was so many things we hope to be. Smart, caring, devoted to family, friends and fairness and embracing life with love and joy. We will always remember how privileged and honored we felt being invited to a dinner party he and Allison held for friends visiting from Europe. And how we felt immediately at home and comfortable as soon as we arrived. He was a special person and the world is a little less without him. We are filled with hugs and deepest sympathy for Allison and Maria. Love and forever admiration.
