I grew up as a child in Westover, about the same age as Warren. We were close friends in Westover Elementary, Mosby Middle, and in High School; he went to Benedictine, I went to JR Tucker. I was in his wedding as a Groomsman. We remained close friends. In my fond memories of that time, that neighborhood, that wonderful family- Warren would be at the top of my list in creating, sharing, and now, reminiscing these magical and youthful encounters! He had a kind heart and did his best when life's thunder clouds entered his life; too many storms he encountered... I was fortunate to have a lengthy phone call with him on December 6, 2023. We retold the same old stories, typically mischievous in nature- ever so present in those teenage years. We laughed; we assured each other of still having each other's back's. We said Merry Christmas in closing. The phone call ended with reciprocating "I love ya Buddy"
Rest In Peace my awesome friend, "Schaefer"

Oh wow! I had no idea! I´m just finding this out 1/11/24. Warren was a "regular" customer of Napoleon taxi co for years. I was one of their drivers and transported Warren many, many times to The Locker Room but usually back home from there. We had some great conversations n I became quite fond of him. I remember when his Dad had to go into the nursing home and Warren would talk a lot about him and the issues he was facing. While I was not really a personal "friend" of Warren, he definitely left an impression on me and I´m sad to hear of his passing. RIP hon
