Grace Lipscomb Obituary

LIPSCOMB, Grace Piercy, 98, of Richmond, Va., passed away on January 19, 2021. She was born on July 13, 1922, in Nicholas County, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Lipscomb Jr.; her parents, Walter Ray Piercy and Nancy Craig Piercy; by eight brothers and sisters; by her son, William H. Lipscomb III; and by one granddaughter, Kitty Ann Miller. She is survived by her children, John H. Lipscomb and Timothy K. Lipscomb; by eight grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Ridge Baptist Church. Grace was a 35-year employee of the A&P Tea Company. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered as kind and loving by all who knew her. She lived unselfishly and to serve others. She will be greatly missed.
