Helen Olton Obituary

OLTON, Helen Neale, 83, of Highland Springs, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; spouse, Ronald; son, Ronald II; and sister, Emily Phillips. Helen was a faithful member of Christ Ascension Episcopal Church and was a lifelong, devoted member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed playing every week with the Springs Bridge Group. Surviving are her brother, Gordon A. Wilkins; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150. A memorial service will be conducted at Christ Ascension Episcopal Church, 1704 W. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Ascension Episcopal Church.
