BRENT, Henry Oscar "Bobby", Jr., passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on October 31, 2021. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on April 28, 1932, to Henry Oscar Brent and Nannie Greer Brent, Henry grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He graduated from Smithdeal Massey Business College and retired after almost 40 yeas from DOA and Defense General Supply Center, where he worked as an accountant. He was a member of Broadus Memorial Baptist Church for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Hank Brent (Darlene). He is survived by his best friend and wife of 63 years, Nancy; children, Ann Frame and James Brent (Brenda); seven beloved grandchildren, Alexandria Smith, Joshua Brent, Nicklaus Frame, Hilliary Larsen, Gregory Frame, Emily Brent and Will Brent; and 14 great-grandchildren and counting. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, at Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where they will celebrate his 89 years of life at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021.
