Pepaw,

I miss you so much that my heart hurts! I miss your laughter, I miss your voice, but most of all I miss your hugs! You will NEVER be forgotten as the strongest man I have ever known. You gave it your all to the very end when you found peace and there was no more pain. We all sat there and held your hand, talked so that you could hear our laughter, cried so you would know you would be missed. In the end you were surrounded by all that loved you.

WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH ! ! !

I am so very sorry for your loss.

PePaw was such a sweet and loving man. He has indeed left a mark on every heart that he touched. It didn't take very long to love him once you met him. His gentle spirit will be greatly missed. God Bless you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to learn of Houston's death. My mind quickly raced back to the years when we would come to visit on the weekend and make homemade ice cream on the porch! Many great church and church school years were celebrated with friends like your family. I remember spending the night with Gail and Arlene when were just kids and enjoying some happy times. My prayers are with all of the family in this time of sorrow, yet we know "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" and that is one peace and the altimate reward we can all live for.

Thinking of you and remembering some "happy" times. Love in Christ, Diane

My sincere condolences to Phyllis, Gail, Arlene, Wanda and Penny. May God be with you during this time. My childhood was so special because of your family and you ALWAYS made me feel a part of it. No one I know of, growing up, was as warm and loving as Houston and your family. Didn't matter how many years went by, I was always welcomed with open arms whenever I decided to drop in. God Bless you all and comfort you through this time.
