Howard Herndon Obituary

HERNDON, Mr. Howard Richard Sr., 60, of Goochland, passed away on May 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, George (Jack) Herndon Sr.; and is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Jean) Herndon; his daughter, Ashley McGary (Andrew); and his son, Howard R. Herndon Jr.; five grandchildren, Liberty, Philip, Audrey, and Peter McGary and Harper Herndon. He is also survived by his brothers, Billy (Cindy) and Bobby (Stacey); and sisters, Deborah (Lane) and Dena (Russ); a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Melvin Lang. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 27, 11 a.m. at Bethel UMC located at 1981 Cardwell Road, Crozier, Virginia.
