Howard Shelton Obituary
Howard is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Teresa D. Shelton; daughters: Morgan A. Shelton and Jessica L. Shelton; son: Owen L. Shelton and grandson Lucas O. Shelton. As well as his aunties, Shirley Ann Johnson, Clara Shelton, and uncle Daniel L. Shelton; and his loving cousin, Lucy Johnson.
Howard was a faithful member of St. Mark Baptist Church, in Maidens, Virginia. He was active in the Brotherhood and Hospitality Ministries.
His remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. where a viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Mark Baptist Church, Maidens, Va.
A special thank you to Mealy Funeral Home, Ms. Ashley Mills (Caregiver), the care teams at Henrico Doctor's Hospital and VCU for their care and compassion, Pat's Florist of Richmond, VA, and family and friends for their love and support.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Howard. We went to elementary school together and he was a great guy. His mother was the best Math teacher ever! Just hold on to God's unchanging hand and he will see you through this difficult time. Prayers and condolences to the entire family.

Howard was a very kind gentleman and I enjoyed working with him on the hospitality committee at St Mark. It was a pleasure to see him at church and I Hop where he was a manager years ago..
