Hoyt N. Hill

January 30, 1932 - August 21, 2025

Hill, Hoyt Newman, 93, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carleen C. Hill; son, Robert A. Hill Sr.; and granddaughter, Jessica W. Hill. He is survived by his daughter, Wanda H. Thibault; four grandchildren, Robert L. Hutchison Jr. (Stacy), Robert Hill Jr., Annette M. McCook (Christopher), and William W. Hill II (Erica); thirteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Hoyt served in the United States Navy at an early age on the USS Pittsburgh. He worked for Western Electric, which became AT&T. After retirement, he enjoyed his family, friends, fishing trips at the beach, and being on the farm.

The family will receive friends from 5 tp 7 p.m., on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, VA. 23111, with a funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, VA 23222.
