Hugh Leach Obituary

LEACH, Hugh "Uncle Pete" Jr., 89, of Richmond, Va., passed away Friday, March 31, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Elliott Leach; his parents, Hugh Leach and Alice Angel Leach.

Hugh was a graduate of the University of Virginia and a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his stepbrother, John M. Burgess; nieces, Pat Humphries, Jo Anne Fulk, Linda Carter (Wesley); and many other loved ones and friends. A special thank you to a faithful friend, Frances Fife.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023 at Riverview Cemetery with the Rev. David H. May officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227 or St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1229 River Rd., Richmond, Va. 23238.

Hugh was so very devoted to the entire Conner family and y'all shared a deep love and loyalty to your Uncle Pete. No doubt he is well received at the reunion in Heaven.
