Iris Harris Obituary

HARRIS, Iris Renee, 64, of Henrico, died December 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Harris. Surviving are her daughter, Arielle R. Harris; son, Daron L. Harris; grandson, Jaden Harris; mother, Marian Gross; sister, Shirley Johnson (Robert); two brothers, Gerrard (Lisa) and Larry (Brenda) Gross; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Friday, December 16 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17 at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 4247 Creighton Road. Rev. Derek Lewis officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.scottsfuneralhome.com.

I first met Iris when she came to work at VA Power. She was a very nice person and easy to get along with. I had not seen her since she left the company until I ran into her at our MLW class event in August 2015 at Dorey Park. Rest in heavenly peace Iris!! I will always remember you!!!
