Dear Family of Dr. Altman,

You will not know me, but I knew your dad as being on the staff of Hogg Funeral Home. He performed many funerals for us in the Chapel of the funeral home and also at Beeck Grove Baptist Church where he was dearly loved. Your father was God's faithful servant. He was deeply devoted to his church and church family. He was an encouragement to fellow believers and a shining testimony to others. May you find joy knowing that your loved one is in the presence of Jesus. You are all in my prayers and I know you will find comfort in the memories you hold so dear to your heart. I pray that God's love will surround and comfort you during this difficult time.

In Christ's Love,

Virginia Evans

Dear John,

We have just heard of the death of your father, Jack. Please know that King, Addy, Jefferson and I send you our deepest condolences and pray for your comfort. We spend a life time making memories, then those memories sustain us in times like these. We have all missed you here on Sherwood Drive. Just a few weeks ago the woods behind our houses were all cut down for lumber and I thought about the fort that you and Jefferson had, and of Addys' and Roxsey and Traviss' too. They are all gone now, but the memory is alive and well. May your memories comfort you now and always. Affectionately, Margie Hodges
