I know Mr. Lucas from coming in at the bank and he was such a sweet man! He would always talk about his little dog that he recently got and show us videos and pictures of her. We will truly miss seeing him come in. Rest well Mr. Lucas.

I have wonderful memories of working with Jack at Lee-Davis H.S. Such a positive gentleman. Peace be with his family.

My prayers go out to the family. Mr. Lucas was a teacher of mines later on in life we work together. I would really miss him after he retired. We would have lunch together sometimes. Rest in peace. my friend

So sorry to hear this news. Sending prayers for the family. Mr. Lucus will always be remembered as a legend as a great Vice-Principal at Lee-Davis. He cared about the students, even if we might have skipped a class or two (but we wouldn´t do that).

I had the pleasure and honor of calling Jack my friend. We taught together at Chickahominy Middle School in Hanover, and was one of the first persons I met when I started teaching there. He was kind, supportive and had a great sense of humor. He loved teaching and supporting the young people of Hanover County encouraging them to study and use their talents in a positive way.
I will miss him, especially our lunches at Mission: BBQ with our CMS friends and celebrating Veterans Day.

Jack was a wonderful, friendly neighbor. Always stopped to chat during his regular walks around Rural Point. He will be missed. Our condolences to Jack´s family.
