Jackie "Jack" Lee Spurlock

Jackie Spurlock, 76, of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2025. He was born to the late Virginia Maylon Spurlock. He is also preceded in death by sister, Jo Ann Spurlock. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Connie Spurlock; daughters, Marie Bernard and Andrea Bulifant (Matthew Bulifant); granddaughters, Abigail Bernard, Alycia Bernard, and Emma Bulifant; grandsons, Luke Bernard, Caleb Bernard, and Ethan Bulifant; brothers, Gene Spurlock (Jeri Spurlock) and Dale Spurlock; sister, Reva Mitchell; sister and brother-in-law, Lil and Melvin Voyles; and nieces and nephews. He was the heart of our family-a kindhearted, generous, and hardworking man who made us feel loved in every moment we shared. He was always ready with a quick smile and a kind word. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking family vacations with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He was always eager to teach us how to do hard things but also to stay positive. He gave selflessly and cherished the simple, beautiful things in life. He wasn't just our rock; he was our inspiration, and we'll carry his love with us always. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 17th at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th at Gill Grove Baptist Church, 10726 River Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23838. Interment with military honors to follow at Gill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
