Mrs.Hendricks,Jay and Catherine
I was deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Mr.Hendricks this past weekend. Although I have not seen any of you for many years I still have fond memories of life on Farmington Dr. I always remember him as a kind, quiet person who always had a kind word or joke for me as a young man.I also remember warm summer nights when he and dad would sit on our patio while we would play ball. As you know, I fully understand the loss you feel and know that as time passes the hurt never fully goes away but the memories grow stronger and help to find strength for the years to come. Again, let me offer my sincere condolence to all of you and may the lord comfort you at this time.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy in the loss your husband, father and grandfather. I knew Jim as a teacher at UR and a mentor in the transportation industry. He spoke often and lovingly of his wife, Alline and his children, Jim and Catherine. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have had more than 1 class with Jim and who were also fortunate enough to call him a friend, were enlightened on many occasions with stories and anecdotes of the children as they grew up and left home. Jim will be missed by many. God Bless You.
