October 8, 1956 - September 29, 2025
Jennie Simmons, 68, of Dinwiddie County, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 29, 2025. She fought a courageous battle against heart disease with strength, bravery, and dignity. A memorial service will be held at West End Baptist Church in Dinwiddie, Virginia, at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Casual attire is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jennie's favorite charity: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
