Jerry Holleman Obituary
Jerry was born on Valentine's Day, 1951, in Surry, Va. and raised in a loving family on a peanut farm. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1973, Jerry began his CPA career in D.C. In 1979, he married the love of his life and moved to Richmond, Va., where together, Jerry and Debbie built a life dedicated to their children. In 1986, Jerry opened his own accountant firm and later joined The College of William & Mary as Tax Director, where he ultimately ended his distinguished career.
He loved to build and spend time outdoors and often put those interests to use in service of others. Among many other charitable pursuits, he built homes after hurricane Katrina and volunteered for Caritas.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Kelly and Alex (Maureen); and grandson, Bennett.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2 p.m. at The Williamsburg Inn, 136 Francis St. E, Williamsburg. To view a livestream of the service, please visit www.NelsenWilliamsburg.com.

Jerry was a personal friend as well as my CPA for over 35 years. He came to see me when I was recovering from surgery this past October in Richmond. I will miss his presence in my life. He was definately one of "the good guys"!
I hope to meet the rest of his family next Sunday!

Debbie, Les and I are so saddened to hear about Jerry. I remember all of your family at Central and Les remembers being a part of Chesterfield Ducks Unlimited when Jerry served as their Treasurer. We are keeping you and your family in our prayers for God's comfort and peace in the days ahead.

I am sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I worked with Jerry from 1979 at Sabatini Russell and later name changes until he started his own firm in 1986, He was a fine individual and will be missed. Prayers for the family.
