Jill Rust, 62, of Midlothian, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2024. She was born on July 2, 1962, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Rhoda West and the late Harold West, Sr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Edward Rust; son, Jeremy Rust; daughter, Mandy Smith (Edward); mother, Rhoda West; sister, Joy Chickering; brother, Harold West, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd, N. Chesterfield, VA, 23234. Her funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at 2 p.m. at The Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA, 23002. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA, 23805.
