Jimmie Reese Obituary

REESE, Jimmie Harrison, 87, of Chesterfield, Va. passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Reese; parents, Willie and Grace Reese; brothers, Robert Lee, Bennie and Clyde; and sister, Willie Grace. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Ann Reese; daughters, Wanda Reese, Melissa Weeks and Tammy Birche (Jose); grandson, Myles Weeks; sister, Pearl Mount; sister-in-law, Scarlett Yates; and many nieces and nephews. Jimmie was a fun loving jokester who loved to hunt and fish. He never met a stranger. He loved working in his yard and earned the nickname "Digger". He loved all dogs, especially his fur baby Molly.

A private graveside will be held at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richmond SPCA.
