Jimmy Maurice Thornton, Sr., 57, of Richmond, VA, was called home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2024.
The staff of the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home in Ashland is serving his family where he may be viewed Saturday, August 24, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and where the family will receive friends 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 46 Towinque Farm Rd., Hanover, VA. Never thought I would be saying goodbye but I will see you again one day! You where such a Joy and Blessing in my life, I know we didn’t see each other that much as we got older but I know you were there, now that you are gone my Heart hurts. It will never be the same Big Brother I love you so much
