My sincerest condolences to Diane whom I never met. John and I were classmates at the University of Richmond and became good friends in our last couple of years there. We lost touch over the years and regrettably that was mostly my fault. I thought of John yesterday and "googled" him thinking I'd suggest we get together for old times sake. Sadly, I was too late. "I was born, I lived and I died." sounds exactly like the John I knew way back when. Happy Trails to you John, until we meet again. Bill

Dear Diane and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Johns passing. He was such a special person. I first met him working at Dr. Cox's office. He was always so kind and we loved talking about our grand-kids. John also helped during the purchase of our business and I felt so comfortable with his guidance. Diane, you all will be in our prayers.

Deepest sympathy...I knew John many years ago. He was a frequent customer at Richmond Office Supply where I worked for 17 years. He was always so kind, pleasant and dapper in his bow ties.

I am so sorry to see that John has left us. What a man of calm and peace - devoted to his Cathedral. It was a pleasure to work along side him on capital and other special needs.

This is such sad news. My sympathy to John´s entire family. I first met and became friends with John in law school. He was always a pleasant, kind gentleman. Later as our paths sometimes crossed during our law practices he continued to be the consummate lawyer and a credit to the Bar and a gift to his clients. He was highly intelligent and an untiring advocate for his clients. He was the kind of lawyer I think every lawyer should strive to be. I never met him when he didn´t treat everyone around him with courtesy and a smile as he worked towards finding solutions. He will be greatly missed!

Dear Anderson Family, I was very saddened to hear of, and now read of, John's passing. He was a true friend and leader to me through our mutual membership at the West Richmond Business Men's Association. We were all blessed to have the consistently warm, caring and professional aura that John brought to the room. A total class act. A model for all. A human spirit that will never be forgotten and shall always be celebrated. Godspeed John Anderson. We miss you already. Bob Watts, retired President and CEO, First Capital Bank
