I have so many memories of your
Dad. I was thinking about him a few weeks ago, when Camelot was on TV, and remembered him sitting by his stereo, book in hand, and listening to that soundtrack. I'm so glad I got to see him again briefly at the Hermitage. Your parents were just the nicest people on the planet. Deepest sympathies.

Dear Maria and JoEllen: I'll always think of your Dad as one of the nicest and kindest men I met at church. He was always quite the gentleman and proud of his daughters and family.

I cannot attend his services, unfortunately because it is a big birthday for my husband and we will have people visiting all weekend. I will be with you in prayers. Sheila Holliday Talley

Mom and Dad treasured Johnny and Helen as neighbors when I was a youngster. Later in life, when they'd meet (after Mom and Mrs. Barrow had passed away), Dad and Johnny would talk endlessly about how lucky they were to have such wonderful families. Johnny was a rare and wonderful gentleman in this world, and surely he has been welcomed in heaven.
