John Bogan Obituary

John Edgar Bogan, Sr. died July 27, 2025. He was born in Richmond, Va. February 14, 1942. John was the former Vice President of sales for Dage Mti before joining Qualitative Imaging of Vancouver B C, Canada as Vice President of International Business. In 2002 Qualitative Imaging was acquired by Roper International and John traveled the world as a leading imaging specialist.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Moltz Bogan; his father, Forest Gilmore Bogan, Sr.; and a brother, Forest Gilmore Bogan, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Beverley "Beezy" Stokes Bogan; his son, John Edgar Bogan, Jr, and daughter-in-law, Hope Carnahan Bogan; and his adored granddaughter, Eva.
Graveside services will be held in Hollywood Cemetery on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Massey Cancer Center or a charity of your choice.

Beverly, John, I will always remember you as our neighbors across the street, next to the Fains...I am so sorry to hear about John.

Johnny was one of the Glenburnie gang of boys that I knew and most of us attended Westhampton School and later Tee Jay. We all grew up together and roamed the West End of Richmond, unchecked. After HS, we scattered but kept in touch, most recently having lunch at Westwood Pharmacy across from our elementary school on Patterson Avenue.
Good times there are not forgotten, and Johnny will always be a big part of that great time and those memories.
Rest in peace old friend, we will all be together in the sweet by and by.
