John Hlywa Obituary

HLYWA, John S., 91, of N. Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Hlywa; son, Jon Hlywa; daughter, Trina Hlywa; and parents John and Frances Hlywa. John is survived by his children, Diane Hlywa, Frances Murphy (Earl), Sharon Ohly (Bud), Dawn Atwood (David), Donna Wood (Joey), and Shephen Hlywa (Glo); and brother, Edward Hlywa (Karen). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nephews, Jeffrey & Mark Hlywa; best friends, Deano and Judd; feline buddy, Zippo; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. "Keep it simple".

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 and Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 4400 Beulah Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23237. Interment to follow at Maury Cemetery. Online condolences at www.morrissett.com

I am very sorry for your loss Mr. Hlywa was a good many, we had quite a few conversations over the past several years. One thing I liked doing for him was cutting his hair, he really liked the way I cut it. The picture below is one of him smiling from ear to ear after I cut his hair. Again sorry for your loss, I am feeling it with you...
