John Landers Obituary

LANDERS, Mr. John Franklin, 65, of Richmond, Va., died Friday, April 29, 2022, at his home. He is survived by his mother, Anne Landers Murphy; his stepfather, Terry D. Murphy; and his sister, Terri Anne King. John was the son of the late Joseph Maurice Landers. He was the grandson of the late Wiiliam F. White. John was a gifted athlete. He achieved Four Sport Letterman status at Clover Hill High School and attended Ferrum College on a baseball pitching scholarship. John graduated from East Tennessee State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. John was a big-hearted, loving person with a great sense of humor. John will be forever missed by his friends and family. Funeral notice later.
