July 30, 1962 - June 22, 2025
John Robert MacLelland, 62, of Mechanicsville, passed away June 22, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Dasch MacLelland; son, Christopher R. MacLelland (Jessee); grandson, Alex MacLelland; stepson, Thomas V. Carroll (Richard); and sister, Mary Ann Talley (Glenn). John was a pipefitter for over 30 years. He was loved by everyone.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, June 28, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where services will follow at 10 a.m. Interment in Gethsemane Church of Christ Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
