My first Minister as an adult. As a young college graduate, relocating to the Richmond area, I was welcomed and embraced by the Brown family. My Grandfather having been an Evangelist himself, I never found my Faith wavering under the leadership of Bro. Brown. I saw him here in Atlanta a few years ago, and ensured I got a picture with him. It had been close to 20 years since, I'd seen him last and after a brief conversation, he remembered me. My heart is truly in sorrow for Sister Brown, Hugh, Loren & Virgil. A true Pioneer of the Gospel has transcended this world. May the Lord comfort as only He can, the family, friends and Sandy Lane Church. My love and prayers always!

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Evangelist Brown. His work on the battlefield will always be remembered. Thoughts and prayers for the entire family as we all remember the words of 2 Timothy 4:7-8 which says,"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing".
