Joseph Edward Dauses, 53, of Williamsburg and Kilmarnock, died May 22, 2004. Surviving are his beloved wife of 30 years, Selinda S. Dauses; beloved father of Adrienne Ruth Dauses, Michael Joseph Dauses, both of Williamsburg, Amanda Ellen Dauses of Rocky Mount, N.C.; mother, Margaret L. Dauses, Forest Hill, Md.; sister and brother-in-law, Joanne D. and Dan Davis; sister, Marlene D. Krumpholz, all of Forest Hill, Md.; brother and sister-in-law, Wade A. and Barbara Dauses, Glen Arm, Md.; 13 nieces and nephews; uncle, Dr. Robert Dauses, Baltimore, Md.; special sister-in-law, Deb Dauses, Annapolis, Md.; brother-in-law, Richard H. Sanger, Reston. Mr. Dauses was preceded in death by a sister, Antoinette D. Stroup; and a brother, David George Dauses. A Mass of the Resurrection will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Kilmarnock. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Kilmarnock. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Virginia Institute of Marine Science Educational Fund, the University of Richmond Athletic Fund, or Archeological Society of Virginia.
