Joseph Lomax Obituary

Deacon Joseph R. Lomax, 82, of Charles City, affectionately known as "Bubba T" or "Joe Low", departed this life June 13, 2005. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Glenn Lomax (Pam) of Elk Grove, Calif.; daughter, Nadine Lomax-Butler; a sister, Blanche Moore, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, one devoted, Barney Lomax (Velma) of Charles City; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, Charles City. At 9 a.m. Saturday, Mr. Lomax will rest at New Vine Baptist Church where services will be held 11 a.m. Rev. Burrell Smith officiating. Interment church cemetery.
