Josephine Johnson Bigger

BIGGER, Josephine Johnson, 103, of Richmond, departed this life on Friday, January 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Bigger; mother, Pearl Mae Johnson; and brother, William H. Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted daughter, Margaret A. Bigger; two nephews, William P. Johnson (Theresa) of Palm Coast, Fla., Rev. Wendell A. Johnson (Rita) of Mechanicsville; three nieces, Joyce J. Anderson (Norman) of Dahlgren, Va., Irene W. Lester and Luvenia W. Goode, both of Henrico, Va.; devoted great-niece, Patrice J. Wiggins; devoted great-great nephew, Denby F. Crawley; goddaughter, Cathy S. Jennings, godson, Brent A. Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where a walk-through visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2021, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Celebration of Life service 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at St. James Baptist Church, 2169 New Market Rd., where live streaming is available at church website (sjbcofvarina.org). Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
