To Miss Logan's family,

I express my deepest sympathy for your loss of an exceptionally fine and gracious aunt and cousin. I graduated in the George Wythe class of 1968 and served proudly as president of the Josephine Mary Logan History Club my senior year. Miss Logan was a dedicated teacher and set high expectations for her students - which we worked very hard to meet. I sent her Christmas cards for many years after graduating from George Wythe and she always called to thank me and catch up on the news of my classmates. I lost touch with her after she left Richmond and am pleased to see such a lovely article commemorating her years her as an educator in the paper this week. She would have been pleased. God's peace be with you.
