Juan Pizzini Obituary
February 13, 2025
PIZZINI, Juan Francis, 83, of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2025. Born March 25, 1941, in Richmond, VA, he was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Doris Pizzini; wife Roberta Terrell Pizzini; daughter, Debra P. Oley. He is survived by daughter, Tammy Gundersen (Eric); son, Chris Pizzini (Becky); grandchildren Amanda Gill (Jayme), Erica Day (Lee), Stephanie Archambault (Jim), Tommy Gundersen (Chrystal), and Thomas Pizzini; as well as ten great-grandchildren. He retired from Dupont after a long and distinguished career, and was a mechanic on the first run of Kevlar ever produced. The family would like to recognize nurse Joanne Mallery for her dedicated care.
A visitation will be held at Bliley's Funeral Home, Chippenham Chapel, on February 24th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Juan Pizzini & Roberta Terrell where both @ Sacred Heart School school 14th & Perry Sts when we were young. Benedictine & St Gertrude followed.
Juan was an outstanding young athlete, especially asketball.
Eight grade Coach Jim Sowers told the the team, "throw the ball to Juan!". FAST as lightng , the layup his speciality..he scored!
The family business was Pizzini Poster & Printing. Made all of those posters you'd see all over.
Fr Walter Herbert of Sacred Heart loved the Pizzini's. You'd know when the Brunswick Stew was gonna be cooking. Those posters advertised the stew all over Hull Street! (Plus Movies & goings on)
Juan & Roberta were an item, the families were good friends. In school, work, sports and where everybody spent time growing up in South Richmond.
Big numbers did become involved @ DuPont continuing the friendships .
Juan's life & family shows all how a life was well spent growing up here "South of the James". The good times & memories continue...
May he Rest in Peace.
