Justin was called home to the Lord at his home in Wytheville, VA on December 30, 2024 at the age of 41. He was born in Richmond, VA to Jerrie Carter Welch and Kevin Michael Welch on March 3, 1983. He is survived by his beloved children, Xavion J. Braxton and Jada I. Welch; his mother, Jerrie Carter Welch, father, Kevin Michael Welch (Nancy); siblings, Daniel C. Welch and Hayley E. Welch; niece, Laila Welch, loving stepmother, Elizabeth Nuckols, and a plethora of extended family and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Peggy Ann Carter, and paternal grandparents, Shirley Smithers Welch and Albert M. T. Welch (Tommie).
Services for Justin will be held at the Mount Mitchell Church in Wytheville, Virginia, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association are requested.
